Solution Update....
Mauve Group are continuously updating their existing solutions to ensure their clients are receiving the best level of service possible. The solution for Taiwan has been operational for some time, however, Mauve are delighted to announce the set-up of a representative office for Taiwan. This is a representative office of The Point of Contact (TPOC) Cyprus, one of the Mauve Group of Companies and the formation of this office now enables TPOC to sponsor their own work permits without the involvement of the end client.
Ultimately this means that the whole process of obtaining work permits for Taiwan will be much smoother and timescales will be greatly reduced. The table below gives a brief summary of some of the services and associated costs for Taiwan.

PEO Services

PEO or Professional Employment Outsourcing is a concept that is becoming more and more widespread in today’s human resource market. In layman’s terms, PEO is called upon when companies and organisations require human resources for a specific project or period of time but they do not want the inconvenience or expense of employing the personnel directly. Instead, they will turn to the services of a PEO organisation to employ staff on their behalf.
PEO services can be beneficial both on home soil, for short or long term projects and for companies wishing to employ staff in other countries, where they do not have an entity. On occasions such as these, the services of a PEO organisation become particularly useful. The PEO organisation will become the “employer of record” and ensures that all payroll and necessary procedures are followed according to local legislation. By taking advantage of Mauve’s PEO Services, businesses are able to enter new markets quickly and without the need for in-country set-up, enabling international growth without the high risk and cost normally associated with this type of business expansion.
Some of the key benefits of PEO services are:
- Rapid expansion into new markets
- Greatly reduced employment risks
- Contingent workforce management
- Reduced costs and raised profits

The outsourcing of certain business practices is now becoming a fast developing global trend. The main reason for its success worldwide is its ability to allow organisations to focus on their core business interests and lower their operating costs.
Contingent workforce strategies have always been a viable alternative to the direct employment of personnel. However, in today’s current economic climate, it has become the only way organisations can cut costs effectively and quickly.
Whether you are an individual, a supplier or an end-client, forming agreements and alliances with third parties requires effective and reliable contract management and monitoring. Mauve’s team of dedicated contract specialists can manage the contract chain from its conception to completion.
Our specialists will deal with all pre-contract activity and preparation, establishing structured and informal communication routes between the end client and the supplier. As communication is essential to the success of any project, our policy is to ensure that our clients are kept fully informed of developments at all times.
The technical skills, knowledge and experience of our contract management team can ensure that the process runs smoothly from start to finish.

Compliancy

Historically, compliance has often been viewed as an expensive option rather than an obligation. However, with many countries monitoring expatriate consultants and employees more closely, compliance is now becoming a necessity not an option.
Being compliant means conforming to the regulations of the country in which the expatriate employee is working. With the tightening of tax, social security and employment laws, the burden of compliance is of primary importance to staffing suppliers and end clients alike.
At Mauve we pride ourselves on our ability to offer fully compliant employment solutions across the globe. Our extensive network of overseas offices, branches and partners enables us to eliminate the risks of non-compliance and relieve the burden of liability for both suppliers and employers.
Some countries offer attractive tax breaks and dispensations to increase the attractiveness of compliance. They also reduce the inconvenience of foreign employment and lessen the tax burden, making working within rules certainly more appealing than in the past. As more and more countries make use of the employment regulations at their disposal, non-compliance will become an increasingly risky option with far reaching consequences for all parties, individuals, staffing suppliers and corporations alike.
